Our Weevil has been inspired by the South American Lamprocyphus Augustus. Its angular body is hand-textured which makes it a unique specimen as no two will have exactly the same pattern. The design of this beetle has been simplified to create elegant and clean lines, whilst maintaining consideration of its anatomical form
Each piece is designed and made by hand by Jenny Holdsworth, a UK-based silversmith working in sterling silver and gold.

Materials
All silver used is sterling silver (925) with some Argentium (935) and fine silver (999).
Where items are finished in Gold Vermeil, a thick plate of real gold is bonded to the finished silver item. Yellow gold is at 24ct purity and rose gold is at 18ct purity. Learn more about gold vermeil here.

Every piece is designed and made by hand by Jenny Holdsworth, a UK-based silversmith with a BA(Hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery. The work is made in her Hampshire studio using traditional techniques, produced in small batches or as individual pieces.
