These sterling silver drop earrings are made using small droplets of silver formed by melting down scrap silver. Each drop is shaped by heat and gravity, then refined and assembled by hand. A lightly textured circular link sits above the molten drops, with long hook ear wires providing gentle movement while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear. Each pair is individually made, so slight variations in form and finish will occur.
Each piece is designed and made by hand by Jenny Holdsworth, a UK-based silversmith working in sterling silver and gold.

Materials
All silver used is sterling silver (925) with some Argentium (935) and fine silver (999).
Where items are finished in Gold Vermeil, a thick plate of real gold is bonded to the finished silver item. Yellow gold is at 24ct purity and rose gold is at 18ct purity. Learn more about gold vermeil here.

Every piece is designed and made by hand by Jenny Holdsworth, a UK-based silversmith with a BA(Hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery. The work is made in her Hampshire studio using traditional techniques, produced in small batches or as individual pieces.
