Designed as a continuous flow of handcrafted marquise forms, this statement necklace balances bold design with considered craftsmanship. Alternating open and textured links create rhythm and contrast, while concealed joins and an integrated clasp allow the design to flow uninterrupted around the neckline.

Maker's notes

This necklace is assembled one link at a time. Every component is individually handcrafted in sterling silver from flat sheet or square wire, with each marquise cut, formed, textured and finished before assembly. The connecting links are concealed to maintain the clean, uninterrupted lines of the design, while the clasp has been developed specifically for this necklace. Secure, intuitive to use and seamlessly integrated, it becomes part of the design rather than an obvious fastening.

Each piece is designed and made by hand by Jenny Holdsworth, a UK-based silversmith working in sterling silver and gold.

Materials

All silver used is sterling silver (925) with some Argentium (935) and fine silver (999).

Where items are finished in Gold Vermeil, a thick plate of real gold is bonded to the finished silver item. Yellow gold is at 24ct purity and rose gold is at 18ct purity. Learn more about gold vermeil here.

Made by Jenny

Every piece is designed and made by hand by Jenny Holdsworth, a UK-based silversmith with a BA(Hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery. The work is made in her Hampshire studio using traditional techniques, produced in small batches or as individual pieces.
